This month, we’re turning the pages of “Demon Copperhead”” by Barbara Kingsolver. This prize winning novel is inspired by Charles Dickens' novel David Copperfield and touches on themes of child poverty in rural America and drug addiction. Set in southern Appalachia, this is the story of a boy borned to a teenage single mom and a fierce talent for survival.
